Five Tips to Getting Free Traffic In Less than 30 Minutes

I know it sounds unbelievable but if you have a blog you can drive free web traffic to it in under 30 minutes with the following easy to use tips.

1. Get free web traffic by getting an account at Mybloglog.com

First go to Mybloglog.com and set up an account. When you do make sure you list your website in your About Me section and most importantly that you upload a photo to your profile. This sets the stage for the other web traffic tips to work.

2. Join Communities to get more web traffic

After joining Mybloglog.com you’ll notice a communities link near the top. Click on this link and you’ll find a list of communities. Click on any community that relates to the topic of your blog and join. When you do, you’ll find that your profile shows up as one of the newest members of the community. If it’s a popular community you’ll get clicks to your profile some of which will check out your websites.

3. Visit popular blogs with a Mybloglog.com badge to get even more free web traffic

Each community at Mybloglog has a main blog it’s linked to. If it’s a popular community it usually has a popular blog. If you visit that blog you’ll find that it often has a Mybloglog badge on it. And on that badge is the picture of recent visitors who are members of Mybloglog. If you’ve followed the steps above you’ll notice that your picture is there. You’ll find that some visitors to this blog end up clicking on your profile every time it shows up.

4. Add comments to popular Mybloglog blogs to get links and traffic to your site

Another way to get free web traffic to your site is to leave comments on the blogs you found in step 3. Just make sure that your comment is relevant to the post. And if your comment is insightful you’ll find that some people read it and want to visit your blog to learn more about you.

5. Add contacts to your Mybloglog account

When you are logged into Mybloglog you’ll find a search box near the top on the right-hand side. To find a person you may want to add as a contact, enter in a keyword phrase that relates to your blog. I typed in “make money online”.

After you do this you’ll, find profiles of members that have an interest in the topic you typed into the search box. Click on any of them to add them as a contact. When you do they’ll see your profile the next time they log in. Some will get curious and decide to visit your profile and your web site.

How I got a new website listed in google in under 24 hours

In the old days, I remember that it took months to get listed in Google and the other major search engines like and Yahoo and MSN (and when I say old days I mean 2 or 3 years ago).

Everyone used to say, just submit to the search engines, get sites to link to yours, just wait and a few months and your site will get listed in Google… eventually.

Well, that’s the way it used to be.

But now there are faster ways to get listed in Google.

Just a few days ago, I set up a new website www.nlpvid.com

Of course when I set it up it had no traffic and of course no listing in Google.

To get the site listed, I decided to take one page of my new site and post it on www.digg.com.

You can find the post by clicking here.

Derren Brown Digg

About 30 minutes or so later I checked google to see if my site nlpvid.com was listed.

Of course it wasn’t.

But that post in digg.com was already listed in Google.

I posting several other pages to digg.com as well and they all got listed in Google in minutes.

Then when I checked 19 hours later I found my site by doing a search on “nlpvid.com”.

Then a day later my site was #4 in Google for my main keyword “nlp vide0″.

This technique is the simplest and fastest way to get a site listed in Google that I have found so far.

Try it yourself and let me know how fast you get results.

Web Traffic Tip that Boosts Traffic While Saving You Time and Money

Two weeks ago I was feeling stressed out about all the things I had to do.

I’m working with an artist, a video editor and others to create a program for an employer who wants to distribute it online when it’s done.

There are dozens of elements to put together.

And I was feeling that with all the other projects I needed to do and the employers deadlines that there just wasn’t enough time.

Then I was reminded of the film”The Pursuit of Happyness.”

In this movie Chris Gardner played by Will Smith applies for a job at a brokerage firm.

To get the job the over 40 Gardner has to compete with dozens of recent college grads in getting brokerage clients.

He has no experience or education in this field and can only work until 3pm while his colleagues work until 9pm.

And to top it all off this “job” doesn’t pay, so Gardner still has to spend time making a living with other work.

Despite these challenges he gains so many new clients at the end of the six months that no one else was considered for the position.

How did he do it?

He figured out creative ways to save time and powerful ways to use his time better.

As I thought about how I could spend more time marketing my sites online, while keeping up with my employer’s expectations, I remember Chris Gardner’s story and decided to get more creative with how I used my time.

I got our video editor on Google Talk so he and I could talk in real time as he edited video so I could answer his questions faster.

I set my e-mail account to notify me by cell phone when he and our artist send me e-mails so I could speed up communication.

I created standard checklists for both of them and for myself so we could all work more efficiently on routine tasks.

Things started to go much smoother after that.

I don’t know how many hours I saved.

I then thought there’s got to be a way to apply this idea to Internet Marketing.

I knew that social bookmarking, blogging, internet video, podcasts and other New Media could dramatically boost my internet marketing efforts… helping me to bring in lots of traffic to my websites.

However I didn’t know how I could possibly tag every social book marking service, set up podcasts on iTunes and all that quickly and efficiently.

And as I was reading my e-mail one morning I found a solution.

An Internet Marketing program that does all that, literally at the push of a button.

In fact it’s the very program I used to build the website you are reading now.

It’s called BlogI360 and it automates almost every aspect of my business (I still haven’t figured out how to get it to write for me yet, but I’m still working on it :) )

It bookmarks each blog post in the top 14 social bookmarking sites, it automates the creation of my podcasts, RSS feeds and it makes publishing video easy…

It does so many things that I would have to write pages and pages about it.

I figure that so far it’s saved me about 27 hours of work on those tasks if not more. And I’m sure over the next few months it will save me hundreds of hours and help me to build my business much faster.

Would you like to build your business more quickly?

If so visit BlogI360 and take a test drive.

If you decide to try it out make sure you use the coupon code “ONEDOLLAR” so that your first month costs only a buck.

You won’t find a better deal than that.
